Adult Religious Growth and Learning

Adult RGL classes are offered throughout the church year. Most are designed to help us keep asking questions. We not only look at what we believe, but also at how we put our beliefs into action.

The following opportunities are available regularly:

  • Book Group – meets on the first Wednesday from 7 to 9 pm.
  • Zen Meditation – Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.
  • Labyrinth  – open for walking from September to May on the last Sunday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 pm.
  • Dark Moon Circles – a guided meditation gathering for women, meets on the last Sunday following the labyrinth.

Lectures, forums, and programs are open to members, friends, and the public. Past programs have explored bullying, human trafficking, and transgender issues. In discussion are classes on ecology, climate change and social action.

  • New UU classes are offered once in the fall (October) and again in the spring (April).
  • Building Your Own Theology
  • Cakes for the Queen of Heaven

Listen for news about upcoming classes and other programs to be announced at the end of our Worship Service or look for notices in the Phoenix and on the UUCSV Facebook page. Please visit our Programs and Activities page for more information and listings.
