If you have thought about becoming a member of UUCSV, we invite you to attend a Path to Membership class. The class explores the principles that guide our faith, a brief history of Unitarian Universalism and UUCSV, a tour of our building, as well as the benefits and expectations of membership. Participation in the class is required before becoming a member of UUCSV, but attendance does not obligate you to join.
Path to Membership classes are offered based on interest within the congregation, usually twice a year and last about 1 1/2 hours. Upon completion of the class you will be invited to sign our Membership Book, making it official. You many choose to sign either privately or at a Membership Book signing ceremony held during our Sunday Service (in November or May).
