Love flows! And Staten Island needs our love. We bet we could raise $10 from 1,500 people to aid recovery and take some Staten Islanders a May Faire with musicians, food and games. Help us show Staten Island how much we care!
For the last six months the members and friends of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Susquehanna Valley have been helping the people of Staten Island whose lives were upended by Superstorm Sandy through our sister congregation there. There’s so much more need! We can help!
Ask your friends to join you in sending $10 a person (or even more!) to: Treasurer, UUCSV, 265 Point Township Drive, Suite A, Northumberland PA 17857
Staten Island: from our hearts to yours
Visit us any Sunday morning and see if UUCSV is the spiritual home you've been hoping to find. People of all faith traditions, races, ages, sexual orientations, and backgrounds call UUCSV home.
Our congregation actively promotes your spiritual quest (and questions); works for social justice in the Central Susquehanna Valley, fosters religious education for children, teens, and adults; and provides a vibrant, fun, loving, caring, and supportive community for everyone. Since its inception, member-prepared services at the UUCSV have been a hallmark of our spiritual and theological development.
When coupled with services led by our professional minister, our rich and varied preaching line-up includes founding members and recent friends, people raised in diverse faith traditions, calls to action, and personal reflections. The preaching schedule reflects an important belief of this community; worship (and everything else we do) is the responsibility of each and every member. We invite you to worship with us, learn with us, and play with us.

Our minister is The Reverend Ann Keeler Evans. In her half-time position, she preaches and attends to our spiritual and pastoral needs. A graduate of Union Theological Seminary, she encourages us to develop a deeper sense of our tradition and a wider involvement in our community. She thrives here because ministry is a shared labor with engaged members' active participation in the pulpit and in the community's administration.
In addition, Ann is an author, a ritual maker, social activist and visionary. She shares those gifts with us and with her on-line community.
