Sara is a sixth-generation Unitarian Universalist with ministers and religious education directors and teachers in her family tree on both sides. She has been teaching RGL for young children at UUCSV since 2010 and became the part-time Lifespan RGL director in January 2012. She is certified to teach the Our Whole Lives sexuality and relationship education curriculum to grades K-1, 4-6, 7-9, and 10-12. She is also a member of the Worship Committee, the Welcoming Congregation team, and often writes a “UU Moment” for the service.
In her non-church time she is a singer: an alto in the Susquehanna Valley Chorale, in the church choir, and anywhere else she can sing. She is active with the local Moms Demand Action group and has co-chaired the Lewisburg Arts Festival.
The most important part of her life, though, is her family: husband Dave, daughter Katie (with whom she is being a homeschool mom this year for 11th grade!), and three cats, Kiwi, Jack, and Cosmo.
