The UUCSV Board of Trustees serves as the governing and policy-implementing body of our congregation. Board responsibilities include oversight of the congregation’s governance and policies, long-range planning, review of the Minister’s contract and compensation, appointment or confirmation of chairs for all committees, and review and approval of the budget before it goes to the congregation for a vote. A Nominating Committee manages the nomination process for open Board positions, and Board members are elected at the congregation’s annual meeting in May. The Board meets monthly or on call of the President. Meetings are open to members of the congregation.
