UUA comes to Northumberland!

On Sunday, February 4, Rev. Dr. Sofia Betancourt visited UUCSV and served as our guest preacher. Rev. Dr. Sofia is the current president of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), elected in June 2023. This is the first time a UUA president has visited Northumberland – the home of Joseph Priestley. She thoroughly enjoyed her visit (even saying so on her Facebook page), meeting congregants and friends, answering lots of thoughtful questions, and helping introduce our new friend, Joseph L. Jetpig (more on him in another post).
